Public Service Designing smarter digital experiences for public institutions
SmartGov Group is a Portuguese company that designs and develops digital solutions for municipalities, government services, and public organizations. This project focused on creating a cohesive digital platform that connects citizens with public services — covering areas like people management, territory, organizations, and society. The result is a scalable ecosystem that simplifies institutional communication and accelerates the digital transformation of local governance.
The main challenge was designing a unified platform capable of serving a wide range of public institutions with very different needs — from municipalities managing citizen requests to organizations handling internal operations. It was essential to bring clarity and consistency to a broad portfolio of solutions, while ensuring the interface remained approachable for both administrators and everyday citizens.
